It is likely to provoke discomfort and serious thought as well as amusement for an audience.
According to Britannica Encyclopedia black comedy corresponds to the earlier concept of gallows humor. Black comedy is often controversial due to its subject matter. The term black humor (from the French humour noir) was coined by the surrealist theorist André Breton in 1935 to label a subgenre of comedy and satire in which laughter arises from cynicism and skepticism, often relying on topics such as death. Black humor is related to that of the grotesque genre.
The purpose of black comedy is to make light of serious and often taboo subject matter; some comedians use it as a tool for exploring vulgar issues, thus provoking discomfort and serious thought as well as amusement in their audience. Popular themes of the genre include murder, suicide, depression, abuse, mutilation, war, religion, barbarism, drug abuse, terminal illness, domestic violence, rape, homosexuality, incest, pedophilia, child sexual abuse, insanity, nightmares, disease, racism, homophobia, sexism, disability (both physical and mental), chauvinism, terrorism, genocide, political corruption, torture, and crime. Scary Movie tells about horror. Horror here means that murder. This movie is about murder. An 18-year-old girl named Drew Decker receives a threatening phone call while home alone one night. Drew is chased outside by Ghostface. The someone who wear a Ghostface try to kill Drew. Drew run around her house, but the Ghostface is success to take her, and then he kills Drew.
The next morning, Cindy Campbell meets up with her boyfriend Bobby and her friends, Brenda, Ray, Greg, and Buffy. While Cindy is in class, she receives a note reading: "I Know What You Did Last Halloween!". Then, she realizes that Drew was murdered exactly one year after she and her friends accidentally killed a man during a wild car ride.
That night during a beauty pageant, Greg is killed by Ghostface in plain view, with the audience mistaking Buffy's screams as being part of her act. When Buffy realizes she's won the pageant, she almost immediately forgets about Greg's death and celebrates her victory. After Cindy goes home alone, she gets attacked by the killer. After Cindy locks herself in her room and contacts the police, Ghostface disappears. Bobby arrives momentarily after hearing the incident, but a pair of black gloves and a telephone fall out of his pocket, leading Cindy to believe that he was the killer. Bobby is arrested and taken to the police station. Afterwards, Cindy heads to Buffy and Doofy's place, to spend the night with them. When their, she receives a call from Ghostface, mocking her.
The next morning, Bobby is released, being found innocent as he was in the police cell and didn't make any phonecalls. Later that day, in girls locker room at school, Buffy, high on the success of her victory at the pageant, ignores Cindy's warnings about the killer and is beheaded by Ghostface with a cleaver, though her severed head somehow remains alive. That night, Ray and Brenda go to a showing of Shakespeare In Love, where Ray is stabbed in the ear through a bathroom stall. Ghostface then goes after Brenda. Unfortunately, angry movie patrons, fed up with Brenda's rude behavior during the movie, kill her before Ghostface can.
Meanwhile, Cindy throws a house party, hoping for safety in numbers. Suddenly, Ghostface appears and stabs Bobby, before disappearing quickly. Cindy gets a gun from a drawer near the entrance, Bobby follows and she tends to his wounds. Brenda's stoner brother Shorty comes up from the basement and informs them that all of the partygoers have fled the house. Start from the events, the story of Scary Movie start. Then, the someone who wear a Ghostface try to kill all of them.

But, how the way of Scary Movie to tell the story is very funny, and it is part of joked, comedy. Most of the plot is a Scream parody. The main characters mirror Scream's and the film centers on figuring out who's killing people while wearing a Ghostface mask. There are also a few direct references to Scream, including one character saying it didn't have a plot and another saying their lives are just like Scream, "same dialogue and everything."
